Tera - June 25, 2025

It doesn’t matter if you are growing your very first beard or if you haven’t seen your chin in two decades, beard oil is a MUST for your beard care. Let’s find out why!

If you have a beard you know very well about the dreaded itch. The beginning stages of growing out your facial hair can be a make or break point for many due to irritation and itching. Beard oil is your best friend at this stage to get over the discomfort. Creating a routine of nourishing your follicles and skin is step one in encouraging healthy growth. There are many reasons why itchiness occurs, but the combination of sharp stubble from your coarse beard hair and just plain dry skin is the culprit. Using a quality beard oil can encourage softness to alleviate the itch during the typical 1-2 week adjustment period.

Once you have gotten past the first hurdle of the itchy beard phase, continuing to use beard oil daily directly at the roots of your beard will set your beard up for maximum health and the growth you may be looking for. There is a learning curve to how much oil you should be using, but generally half to one full dropper will get the job done. Making sure to work that oil into your skin is the key to effective beard oil application so your skin will be moisturized and prepped to get to work growing your whiskers.
