Being new to the wonderful & sudsy world of ball wash, i didn’t really know what to expect. After a handful of uses (no pun intended) i’ve learned that i should’ve expected nothing shy of excellence from True North. This stuff is now officially a staple item on my shower shelf. It should have a spot on yours too.
Deer Hunting was a nice surprise. I expected a strong scent, but it was actually pretty mellow. I bought it to pair with a beard butter my girlfriend likes from another brand, since that’s what I used when we first started dating—figured I’d mix them like a romantic beard experiment.
After trying it, True North’s oil and butter are better than most I’ve used. This one’s staying on my shelf next to the products I swear I’ll use but don’t. 👍👍
Smooth and creamy. Melts instantly to the heatof my hand and goes on light and easy. My red/grey folicles sighed in relief the minute this wonderful butter touched them. Feels so light and it doesnt interfere with the sent of my oil, whatever it is.
This is one of the best clays that I have used. It is very creamy and doesn’t dry out the hair. Unfortunately, the scent is much too strong for me. It is pretty low key in the jar, but really blooms in the hair. Probably wouldn’t buy again unless there is an unscented version.
