Let customers speak for us
from 1561 reviewsLet me start with saying, when I first received this oil I didn't think I would care for it all that much. It didn't smell bad but it didn't/and doesn't smell like something I would love while it is in the bottle. Now, here's the kicker. Out of any beard product I have tried (many!) this one changes the most from bottle to application. Once I put it in-beard it was like night and day. It opened up the scents that I imagined when I read the description and decided to order and then goes beyond what I ever expected. This is my favorite scent that I've tried. It is also my wife's favorite. Now, if you aren't into tropical/ish type of stuff then I would probably play it safe and go with a scent that is described as more of what you're into. I happen to like all type...unscented, cologne style, and just about every other genre or subcategory or whatnot and again, this is my favorite. I highly, very highly, recommend this product! Also, if you've never tried True North do not hesitate. I have become a bit biased as they have become my favorite company but you'd do well to try it out at least. The three products that I personally use are their beard oils, beard butters, and their solid beard wash bars. I will use the liquid form if need be because they are outstanding products but I do prefer the solid beard wash bars. On those I go for Wicked Citrus. Anyway, try em out/try this out. 10/10
North Crew!

A great cologne scent. I really like the herbal and citrus prominent upfront scent. A mild scent that wears well throughout the day and leaves a slight fragrance into the evening. Oil goes on well and hydrates the skin.

WOW! Tera knows my scent preferences pretty well so she recommended Gratitude to me and boy am i lad she did!! The vanilla and Carmel are done with absolute perfection here! The chestnut somehow makes the caramel and vanilla even more creamy in a mysterious way, truly something special here! This is a cooler weather scent for sure but if pulled off right, this can be worn in the hotter months! You can 100% dress the scent up! f this scent had a rum/boozy note, this would be a top 3 scent of mine from TNBC! 9.75/10 with a Puddles seal of approval!⭐

Great scent and keeps my beard moist

What I like most about True North's bar soap is that it's a perfect blend of cleaning and gentleness. It leaves you squeaky clean, but doesn't irritate my wife's sensitive skin. Recommend!

A great scent that is not overly sweet. TNBC's butter is great and makes my beard soft and manageable.

As always, another winner from TNBC! Cherry can be scary as it can be too sweet or artificial smelling. Not the case with The Grail! The cherry is darker and less sweet than you'd expect, and the woodsy elements bring a deepness to it that is really pleasant on the nose. Duration is great and it will easily last most of the day, yet it's not overpowering. All in all, it's a great combo of everything I like in an oil. Definitely recommend!

TNBC balm is the best on the market in my opinion. Nice light hold, it’s like their famous butter, with a bit of hold to it. Everlong is a classic, clean barbershop scent. Lasts 12 hrs for me.
