I stumbled across this one as I was building my first-ever True North order. As soon as I opened it, it skyrocketed to my favorite scent. I purchased the butter; the oil was unfortunately already sold out. This smells like vanilla cake and strawberries in syrup. It is amazing. The rumors about True North's beard butters are true, too.... they are phenomenal. I use them at night and they make my beard softer and more comfortable than any other butter I've tried.
Definitely on my top 5. A well rounded, soft textured, great feel on beard and scent profile.
That's not a joke. This smells so much like strawberry shortcake, you'll find yourself wanting to taste it. DON'T! I think TNBC had to put the warning label "for external use only" on their scents because they smell so much like real food you'll want to stick it in your cake hole. Other than the incredible scent here, the ultra smooth zero grit butter is something that everyone is talking about. If they're not, they should be.
Pound town (strawberry shortcake) is such an amazing scent. And true north’s beard butter is ultra smooth with zero grit.
Not that gross ass doll from the 80’s smell…..this is like a fresh bowl
of homegrown strawberries and some angel food cake topped with cool
whip.
