I'm a grandpa and this is what a grandpa's beard should smell like. Very well blended scent profile. The smell reflects a relaxed attitude. Nothing in the world can move this mountain. Very nice!
True North's ode to those of us with white / grey beards is a solid nod to the masculine scents of leather, mahogany, and tobacco. True North has done themselves proud with this blend of these old and familiar scents. With most such scented oils, you can easily detect the leather or tobacco notes as they tend to be stronger and often headline the particular profile. Stay Gold is so well blended that the individual scent notes are not permitted to overstep or outshine, but rather they lend their strengths to the wonder of the profile itself. The cashmere lends itself as a glorious backdrop for bringing the blend together and that slight hint of maple adds some sweetness to top it all off. As alluring as this oil smells in bottle, it only warms, develops, and blooms once in beard. I find the scent strength to be to the stronger side of medium. Stay Gold has a very long scent duration. You will know this one stayed all night!
