Medium scent strength, medium scent duration with an exquisite feel in beard! Grail's surprise lies in the restraint exercised in an absolutely masterful use of its cherry top notes. How is a cherry forward scent not TOO - well, cherry forward? Grail answers that most wonderfully! The blend of sweet and tart cherry with warm, softening vanilla and woody notes yield a cherry blend like no other. Grail is warm, welcoming, soothing and 100% pure joy in the beard. Surprisingly not sweet and surprisingly masculine with a nod toward a darker profile that truly delights!
As always, another winner from TNBC! Cherry can be scary as it can be too sweet or artificial smelling. Not the case with The Grail! The cherry is darker and less sweet than you'd expect, and the woodsy elements bring a deepness to it that is really pleasant on the nose. Duration is great and it will easily last most of the day, yet it's not overpowering. All in all, it's a great combo of everything I like in an oil. Definitely recommend!
This is a very hard profile to make, and Kris & Tera nailed it!! This cherry scent doesn't smell medicinal or artificial, but instead its a tart dark cherry! I get a cognac or cherry liqueur scent for some reason! The vanilla is subtle but definitely takes the edge off this cologne profile! 10/10 with a Puddles seal of approval! ⭐
