Salem really caught me off guard in a good way. The fig hits first—soft and sweet—but it’s the black currant that pulls me in with that darker, richer vibe. The musk settles everything down and gives it this calm, almost cozy finish.
In beard, it feels exactly like I expect from True North: buttery smooth, super conditioning, and easy to work with.
It’s a simple profile, but it works. Salem ended up being one of those scents I keep going back to just to smell again.
Smells Good Great feel
Ultra premium beard butter! The smoothest butter I have ever tried. This scent is so good.a great deep, Dark Cologne scent that lasts for hours and begins as a lovely, warm, comfortable embrace to the beard. As it shifts, it takes you back to the days in an olden day library or lair and intoxicates you in the most sobering way before leaving you wanting more.
This one is a little stronger than the oil but still keeps the same characteristics. Still very tart and dark, but still has a sweetness that cuts down some of the boldness. A true masterpiece! 9.5/10 with a Puddles seal of approval! ⭐
This dark cologne like smell in the beard is subtle but lasting a great description of "dark" scent it's mysterious and will have you smelling it repeatedly to try to figure it out.. many recommended it and I'm glad I took everyone's advice this is top 10 in my favorites now
